Day After Operation Sindoor, Sirens In Pakistan Capital Islamabad: VIDEO


Sirens have been heard in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Videos showing Islamabad as the siren rang are now going viral. However, ABP Live could not verify the videos. It is unclear if the sirens were sounded in Islamabad due to an emergency amid the reported explosions in multiple cities of Pakistan.

Islamabad DC, however, said: “A few individuals are spreading panic in Islamabad by sounding false sirens، public is advised to avoid rumours. In case of an emergency, district administration will issue a verified announcement on social and electronic media، Plz Don’t rely on unverified information.”

“Action will be taken against those attempting to disrupt peace and order,  No information should be considered valid without confirmation from the district administration. Only rely on information from official sources,” the DC added in an X post.

US Embassy Issues Alert In Lahore

Following the escalating tensions, the US Consulate in Lahore has issued an alert for its citizens in Lahore. “Due to reports of drone explosions, downed drones, and possible airspace incursions in and near Lahore, the US Consulate General in Lahore has directed all consulate personnel to shelter-in-place,” the Consulate said.

“The Consulate has also received initial reports that authorities may be evacuating some areas adjacent to Lahore’s main airport. US citizens who find themselves in an area of active conflict should leave if they can do so safely.  If it is not safe to leave, they should shelter-in-place. The US Embassy and Consulates in Pakistan will send updates as needed through our messaging system,” it said.
