Roadies XX: Double Cross has finally begun and contestants are vying against each other to secure the spots in the finale. In the latest episode, Prince Narula evicted Joel Mathew, a contestant from his gang. What left many disappointed was the alleged ‘humiliation’ that Joel had to go through before the shocking exit. Following the disheartening elimination, Deekila Sherpa, last seen in Splitsvilla X5 with her ex-boyfriend Aniket Lama, came out in support of the contestant and slammed Prince saying that he is not a ‘good leader’.
Deekila Sherpa, wrote on her Instagram stories, “He might be a good performer but not a good leader and I stick by it. What he recently did with Joel was not acceptable at all, he should have let him go with dignity and respect but he chose to humiliate him just to cover up his mistake and what a silly excuse was that ‘warning his team.?!”
Taking a dig at Prince Narula’s leadership qualities, she said that why did he need to warn the contestants when he was the leader. Sherpa stressed on the fact that he should have known their potential and guided them. She ended her post with the words, “He might know how to use strategy or crack the code of the task but guide!? SORRRRRYYY!,”
Deekila Sherpa recently auditioned for Roadies Double Cross but could not make it to the journey after failing the audition stage. During the audition, she took a dig at Prince Narula. Responding to a question about whom she would like to replace, she mentioned Prince’s name, writing, “A leader who’s full of himself can’t guide, right?”
Her statement left all the gang leaders offended, including the host of the show Rannvijay Singh, prompting them to slam her. Deekila, in a one-on-one chat, even apologised to Prince, stating that her words didn’t come out right.
Now, after the latest episode went on air, Deekila mentioned that she sticks by her stand, lashing out at Prince Narula for his ‘humiliating’ action against Joel.
Meanwhile, the latest season of MTV Roadies XX has Rannvijay Singha taking on the role of the host after a three-year hiatus. On the other hand, Neha Dhupia rejoined as a gang leader after four years. Besides the duo, Rhea Chakraborty and Elvish Yadav are also the gang leaders, adding to the intrigue around the series among fans.
