Digvijay Singh Rathee, known for his stints on multiple reality shows like Roadies, Splitsvilla and Bigg Boss 18, recently opened up about how these experiences have shaped his mindset. The A Day in Our Lives star also shared insights into his aspirations of building a full-fledged acting career and reflected on his journey so far. Addressing the buzz around his next move, Digvijay responded to rumours of being approached for the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, amid speculations that the show, along with others like Bigg Boss, might be facing cancellation.
In a recent conversation with Bombay Times, Digvijay Singh Rathee expressed his desire to explore acting and whether he is still open to reality shows. The Bigg Boss 18 fame said, “I’m at a situation where I am figuring out what I really want. I would like to travel the world. That was one of my dreams. And doing these three shows was a dream. But it will depend on situations and what kind of positioning is happening. That will be more important going forward.”
He continued, “Talking about acting, I want to get into acting, but not like if I get an offer and I will do it. I need to be sure that I’m gonna do well then only I’m going to get into it. Otherwise not.”
Finally, Rathee addressed the ongoing rumours of him joining the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi amidst the cancellation reports of future seasons. Surprisingly, he mentioned not being offered the show yet. The actor known for his multiple stints on reality shows also added how his past experiences have changed his mindset. “I am not sure. I have not got the offer yet. Also, with my past experiences with the reality show world, I really don’t know. It really depends on the situation, how it’s coming,” he revealed.
The Bigg Boss 18 fame had joined the show as a wildcard contestant. And despite demonstrating powerful gameplay, he was evicted from the show mid-week, leaving his fans in utter surprise. Now, for Rathee, joining a reality show is not only for winning, but he is also prioritising experiences over anything. “Going forward if I participate in a reality show, the mindset will be very different. Earlier, it used to be like I’m going all in, I have to win, I have to give my best. Now I’m going to go, I’ll be there just to enjoy and live my life,” he elaborated.
Reflecting on his journey so far, the actor revealed how he has learnt much from his experiences, “it’s been a long journey, a lot many ups and downs. I learned a lot and had many out-of-the-world experiences. I’ve had experiences, feelings. I honestly believe that I live for feelings right now and experience more than money and everything else. I am going to strive for greatness now,” he concluded.
