F1 fans, get ready to roar through laps with update teams! Codemasters and EA Sports are gearing up to launch F1 25, the latest installment in the popular Formula 1 gaming series. Slated for release on May 30, 2025, this will be the first F1 title to drop support for eighth-generation consoles, focusing entirely on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC for a next-gen racing experience.
Iconic Cover Stars and F1 Film Tie-Ins
In a historic move, Ferrari’s new star and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton graces the cover of the Iconic Edition, sporting his Scuderia Ferrari racing suit. The standard edition, on the other hand, features a fresh lineup of rising stars — Oliver Bearman (Haas), Carlos Sainz Jr. (Williams), and Oscar Piastri (McLaren) — marking a return for Williams and Haas on the cover since F1 2015 and 2016.
Adding to the excitement, F1 25 will incorporate elements from the upcoming F1 movie, including APXGP liveries and playable scenarios inspired by the film, giving fans a chance to immerse themselves in Hollywood-inspired racing moments.
Braking Point 3: The Story Continues
The fan-favorite Braking Point story mode makes its return in F1 25, following up on the narratives introduced in previous games. The storyline will cover the 2024 and 2025 Formula 1 seasons, featuring familiar names such as Callie Mayer, Aiden Jackson, Casper Akkerman, Devon Butler, Davidoff Butler, and Andreo Konner. Players will once again step into the shoes of the Konnersport Butler Global Racing Team as they battle for the world championship.
Editions, Pricing, and Pre-Orders
F1 25 will launch in two editions: Standard and Iconic. The Standard Edition includes the base game, the F1 75 Celebration Pack, a starter pack, and 5,000 PitCoin. Meanwhile, the Iconic Edition offers extra perks like three days of early access, exclusive F1 movie content, a bumper pack for F1 World, 18,000 PitCoin, the Lewis Hamilton Iconic Pack, APXGP Team Pack, F3 driver icons, and special liveries for Time Trial mode.
On PC, the Standard Edition is priced at Rs 2,999, while the Iconic Edition costs Rs 4,699. Pre-orders are now open on platforms including Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Store, and PlayStation Store. The game will also be available via EA Play, starting at Rs 399 per month.
