The buzz surrounding Stray Kids just hit a new high and it’s all thanks to Felix’s recent photoshoot for the group’s 5th fan meeting, SKZ 5’CLOCK. The teaser images sent fans, affectionately called STAYs, into an absolute frenzy, especially one particular photo of Felix that showed a softer, dreamier aesthetic than usual. With long blonde hair styled in delicate, flowing curls, Felix’s angelic visuals sparked comparisons to another K-pop powerhouse: BLACKPINK’s Rose.
Rose has long been celebrated for her signature blonde curls, and it seems Felix has unintentionally channelled that same vibe. Some fans scrolling quickly through their feeds even admitted to mistaking Felix for Rose at first glance.

It wasn’t just the hair, though. Fans pointed out that Felix and Rose share a striking resemblance in their overall features—especially their expressive eyes. The general consensus? These two idols could easily pass as siblings and fans love the uncanny similarity.
Meanwhile, Felix has been making waves in more ways than one. On January 5, 2025, he teamed up with Japanese music icon LiSA to release ReAWAKER, the opening theme song for the second season of the hit action-fantasy anime Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadow.
According to Billboard, the announcement of the collaboration initially broke in late November 2024 and anticipation has been building ever since. Fans are thrilled to see Felix working alongside LiSA again, following their successful 2023 track, Social Path, featured on Stray Kids’ first Japanese-language EP.
Produced by the renowned Hiroyuki Sawano—whose legendary resume includes work on Attack on Titan and Blue Exorcist—ReAWAKER shows the best of both artists, blending LiSA’s powerful vocals with Felix’s dynamic rap.
While Felix has been making strides, Rose is no stranger to headlines herself. The BLACKPINK vocalist continues to prove her superstar status, breaking records and redefining success as a solo artist.
Her 2024 collaboration with Bruno Mars, the chart-topping track APT, has already cemented itself as a music industry phenomenon. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) recently certified APT as a BRIT Gold single, marking Rose’s first solo track to achieve this milestone. In the UK, gold certification signifies over 400,000 units sold—a remarkable feat for any artist, let alone a K-pop soloist.
Not stopping there, APT set a new standard as the largest male-female duet debut of the year, surpassing even Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s smash hit, Fortnight. The track also catapulted Rose into the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, making her the first female K-pop soloist to achieve this honour.
