Gaurav stated that his life has changed quite a bit post Celebrity MasterChef and he was praised by numerous individuals.

Celebrity MasterChef was one of the most popular shows on television, keeping viewers interested. Gaurav Khanna, known for his role in Anupamaa, won the trophy and Rs 20 lakh in the season finale. The actor recently collaborated with filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan for a video on her YouTube channel, where their hilarious banter was the main highlight. In the episode, Farah jokingly shared that her cook Dilip was scared that Gaurav Khanna would take up his job.
During the episode Farah revealed that her cook Dilip felt a bit insecure with Gaurav coming over. She said, “Dilip ka self-confidence hil gaya hai. Whenever any chef or Masterchef comes, he thinks his job is at stake. Because everyone wants to leave their job and do Dilip’s job!” Gaurav playfully reacted, “Actually, I don’t mind staying here. I don’t have a job right now, so I was thinking I can stay here if you want.” But Farah further told him, “You don’t have to work here. You can come whenever you want, and I will cook for you!”
Moreover, Farah also talked about their days on Celebrity MasterChef. Farah described how he was so devoted that he would continue working in the kitchen even after the shoot was over, leaving the team waiting. “The team would be worried because they could only go home after he left,” she added.
Farah also recalled how she refused to taste one of his meals during the presentation. Gaurav mentioned “I felt as if I had made some blunder. I prepared three to four things: lavache, sugarcane chutney, and baba ghanoush. I had two small brinjals left. Since I was making a mezze platter, I decided to fry the brinjals and serve them with masala, so the dish didn’t look empty.” When that didn’t work, he served some tempting veg biryani and chhole to the host.
Later in the same conversation, Farah inquired about his life after winning the culinary competition. The actor stated that it has changed quite a bit and he was praised by numerous individuals.
Prior to Celebrity MasterChef, Gaurav played the role of Anuj Kapadia in Rajan Shahi’s show Anupamaa. His on-screen chemistry with Rupali Ganguly was appreciated by all.
