National Councillor (MP) of Switzerland, Nik Gugger, on July 19,2024 said that the free trade agreement between India and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries has opened new opportunities for India and Switzerland.
“It happens after 16 years, Its a unique free trade agreement of India with four countries—Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Iceland, and Norway—is the first trade agreement India has with four European countries. It opens many opportunities for both countries. I would like to highlight sectors such as healthcare, medical care, steel, and especially dual education. India and Switzerland have excellent universities, colleges, and high schools,” said National Councillor (MP) Nik Gugger.
