The Honda Motorcycle has added another model to its Indian fleet under the nameplate CB 1000 Hornet SP. It is a new street-naked offering to the customers, and has been released with a price tag of Rs 12.35 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle has reached the authorised dealership and is available for purchase.

At the heart, the Honda CB 1000 Hornet SP has been treated with a robust 999cc, inline-four cylinder engine. It generates a maximum power of 155bhp at 11,000rpm and 107Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm. The unit is mated with a six-speed transmission.
Design Highlights
Aesthetically, the vehicle comes with an aggressive style statement, featuring a pure street naked look. It gets a typical streetfight-bike-inspired headlight setup, paired with integrated DRLs, and LED turn indicators have been placed right above the headlight unit. The engine is fully exposed, flaunting a matte finish treatment.
The big fat exhaust somehow uplifts its overall road presence, while the tail section remains sharp and edgy.
Top USPs
According to the details, CB 1000 Hornet SP has been created using a steel frame. It is equipped with a Showa SFF-BP fork at the front, while the rear is supported by an Ohlins TTX36 monoshock. The bike runs on stylish alloy wheels, complemented by tubeless tyres. Braking duties are managed by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
