Honda has been busy filing patents for several motorbikes in India, and the latest one is the NT1100—a touring motorcycle built for the roads.
Having said that, it is already available in global markets, as per Express Drives.
Honda NT1100: All You Need To Know
The Honda NT1100 is a road-focused touring bike, designed for long journeys. It boasts a tall fairing, comfortable wide seats, a wide handlebar, and a large windscreen, all aimed at providing a comfortable ride over long distances. Its distinctive front headlight design gives the bike a sporty edge.
Suspension-wise, the NT1100 comes with Showa electronic suspension at both ends, which adapts based on the chosen ride modes. The bike also rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, features disc brakes at both ends, a 5-step adjustable windscreen, and a 6.5-inch TFT instrument display.
When it comes to features, the NT1100 doesn’t disappoint. It comes with a 6-axis IMU, bringing a range of electronic aids like multiple riding modes, cruise control, cornering ABS, rear-wheel lift control, and more. Plus, it’s compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for added convenience.
Should Honda Bring the NT1100 to India?
Considering India’s fondness for large adventure bikes and Honda’s existing lineup, which includes the Africa Twin, Transalp 750, and Gold Wing, the NT1100 could be a great addition.
