India successfully carries out launch of Agni-4 Ballistic Missile

India on Friday carried out a successful launch of an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile, Agni-4 from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha.

The launch successfully validated all operational and technical parameters. It was conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command.

In April this year, India had successfully tested the new-generation nuclear-capable Agni-Prime ballistic missile, with a strike range from 1,000 to 2,000 km, from the Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.
