iPhone 16e Sale: Apple has expanded its ‘Made-in-India’ lineup with the launch of the iPhone 16e, a budget-friendly addition to its flagship smartphone series. Designed to offer a premium Apple experience at a more accessible price, the iPhone 16e is also the first affordable model to support Apple Intelligence, set to roll out in India in April alongside the iOS 18.4 update. The update is currently in developer beta testing.

With a flat aluminium frame and a frosted glass back, the iPhone 16e maintains Apple’s signature aesthetic. The front features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels. On the photography front, the iPhone 16e sports a dual-camera setup. The rear camera system consists of a 48MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, supporting both 24MP and 48MP captures, along with a 12MP 2x telephoto mode. Apple claims the iPhone 16e provides up to 26 hours of video playback and up to 90 hours of audio playback. The device features a USB-C port for fast charging and data transfer. While it supports Qi2 wireless charging, it does not include MagSafe compatibility.

Apple introduces its proprietary C1 modem with the iPhone 16e, which it claims is the most energy-efficient modem yet. The device supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC with reader mode.
