Mahakumbh 2025: Kumbh Mela Crowds Surge as No Vehicle Zone Imposed in Prayagraj for Weekends | ABP NEWS

Today marks the 34th day of the Mahakumbh, and the enthusiasm of devotees remains high. A new record was set yesterday, with over 50 crore people taking a holy dip, now officially recognized in the Guinness World Records. There are speculations that political leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi may visit the Mahakumbh soon to take a dip in the holy river. The scene is incredible, with roads and paths filled with devotees. This is surprising for the people of Prayagraj, as they typically expect fewer crowds after Basant Panchami. However, the crowds are still large. For those planning to visit on weekends, please note that no vehicles from other districts are allowed inside the Kumbh area. Visitors must park outside and walk to the site. Weekdays, from Monday to Friday, are relatively less crowded, but weekends remain busy. The crowd has been steadily increasing, especially after Basant Panchami.
