The Internet is home to numerous trends going viral, with people actively taking part in it by making videos on different catchphrases, dialogues, and songs etc. Most recently, the trend that grabbed the viewer’s attention is the dance challenge on a 14-year-old track, The Lazy Song, by the international sensation Bruno Mars. The latest ones to join the bandwagon are choreographer and filmmaker Remo D’Souza and Malaika Arora. Taking to Instagram, the ABDC director dropped a video with the diva straight from the sets of their dancing reality show, Hip Hop India Season 2. The clip depicts both judges performing the viral dance step on the beloved song by Bruno Mars. He captioned the post with multiple red heart emoticons.

In the clip, Remo is seen dressed in a grey shirt. He accessorised his look with big reading glasses. Malaika, on the other hand, raised the mercury levels in an all-black outfit featuring a deep-neck crop top paired with a matching black jacket and jeans.

As soon as the Race 3 director dropped the clip, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans and admirers. Remo’s wife Lizelle D’souza, dropped multiple red hearts. An Instagram user wrote, “Awesome.” One of them commented, “We have our winners for this trend.”

Malaika and Remo are currently seen judging the dance reality show Hip Hop India Season 2, which streams on Amazon MX Player.

Speaking about joining the show as a judge, Malaika earlier stated, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this season and to see these wonderful dancers push their limits with their energy, passion, and dedication,” as quoted by Telegraph India.

Remo, on the other hand, said, “I’m excited to return as a judge and see India’s top talent elevate their game. I can’t wait to witness the new wave of dancers who are prepared to own the floor.”

Apart from Hip Hop India 2, Malaika’s last appearance was an item song in the Marathi-language film Yek Number. It was released in 2024. Remo, on the other hand, was applauded for his direction in the emotional drama film Be Happy, featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Nora Fatehi and Inayat Verma in the leads.
