A migrant labourer was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Krishna Karmaal, 31, son of Daneshwar Karmaal, a resident of Jharkhand. He was found lying dead on a road in the Kanjigund area of Bijbehara.
Police have started an investigation into the matter. The labourer’s body has been moved to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for medical and legal formalities.
