VLF aka Velocifero, the Italian two-wheeler giant recently introduced its new VLF Tennis E-scooter in collaboration with the Indian two-wheeler company Motohaus.

Notably, the company has garnered over 300 bookings for their new vehicle within a few days the prices of the scooter were announced last month. Tushar Shelke, Managing Director of Motohaus, confirmed the development on the sidelines of the India Bike Week 2024, which was recently held in Goa, as per HT Auto.

Motohaus will assemble the electric scooter in India at the company’s CKD plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Here we’ve mentioned its key features, specifications and pricing. Take a look:

The VLF Tennis E-scooter packs a 1,500-watt hub motor and draws power from a 2.5 kWh battery pack. According to the company, the scooter has a range of 130 Km on a single charge and comes with a top speed of 65 km/h. Therefore, it could be a good option for people looking for two-wheelers for their daily chores.

Also, as per HT Auto, the company is providing a 720-watt charger with the scooter, with a claimed charging duration of three hours.

Additionally, the Tennis E-scooter comes with telescopic front forks and a single shock at the rear. As for the safety, it is equipped with disc brakes at both ends.

Other notable features include a 5-inch TFT display in the instrument console with Bluetooth for better connectivity, full-LED lighting, 140 mm ground clearance and 780 mm seat height.

Talking about the appearance, the VLF Tennis features clean and minimalist design elements. The front features an appealing rectangular LED projector headlamp unit with integrated DRLs, while the indicators are mounted on the fenders.

On the sides, the company again opted for a minimalistic approach with some graphics under the silver strip. The vehicle has good front legroom and features a single-sitting layout with grab handles for the pillion.

Pricing and Colours:

In India, the VLF Tennis E-scooter has been launched with a price tag of Rs 1.30 Lakh (ex-showroom) and is considered a big rival to other Indian e-scooters including OlaS1 Air,BajajChetak,TVSiQube and AtherRizta.

The vehicle will be available in Red, Black and White colour options.
