Motorola Edge 2025 Leaked In Full Glory: Sleek Makeover, Triple Cameras & Familiar Touches

Motorola’s next-gen Edge smartphone is inching closer to its US debut, and freshly leaked renders are giving fans a front-row seat to what’s coming. Shared by reliable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), the images of the upcoming Motorola Edge 2025 reveal a refined design, a notable camera bump — literally — and some returning features users will recognise from last year.

Triple Trouble: A Bigger Camera Setup Arrives

The most noticeable shift lies on the back. Unlike its predecessor, which sported a dual-camera system, the Edge 2025 bumps up to three rear cameras. This upgrade results in a significantly larger camera module and a redesigned LED flash placement. While exact camera specs haven’t been officially confirmed, this move clearly signals a stronger focus on photography and possibly enhanced zoom or depth-sensing capabilities.

The back panel also sports a textured faux leather finish and a green Pantone-inspired colourway that lends the phone a stylish, premium vibe. There’s no word yet on whether more colour options will be available at launch.

Familiar Front With Refined Details

Flip the device over, and the design appears largely consistent with last year’s model. The Edge 2025 retains a curved display and a centred punch-hole selfie camera, giving it a seamless edge-to-edge look. The frame houses the power and volume controls on the right, while the Quick Button makes a comeback on the left.

The Quick Button, a favourite among power users, allows custom shortcuts to apps or functions like email or webcam mode. It’s a small but useful feature that continues to set the Edge series apart in Motorola’s portfolio.

Under The Hood: High Hopes, No Specs (Yet)

While Motorola hasn’t officially spilt the technical details, speculation based on last year’s Edge 2024 hints at what to expect. The Edge 2025 is likely to offer an OLED panel with a high refresh rate, IP68-rated water and dust resistance, and a sizeable 5,000mAh battery. Charging is expected to be quick with 68W wired and 15W wireless options, while Android 15 could come pre-installed.

Last year’s model included a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage, along with a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens with macro capabilities, and a 32MP front shooter. Audio features like stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 rounded out the experience.

Launch Timeline

There’s no official launch date yet, but considering the leak and the Edge 2024’s June release, the wait may not be long. The US market is still waiting on its version of the Edge 60 series, so the Edge 2025 may just leapfrog into the spotlight first.

With a refreshed camera setup, subtle design upgrades, and a continued focus on usability, the Edge 2025 could be Motorola’s next solid mid-range contender — if it lands at the right price.
