Nakuul Mehta regularly shares moments from his daily life with fans on social media. After celebrating his birthday and anniversary this week, the Ishqbaaaz actor took some time to catch up with his old friends, Hussain Kuwajerwala and Kashmira Irani, along with his Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara co-star Alekh Sangal. The actor referred Hussain and Kashmira, friends from Zangoora, which was India’s first Bollywood musical stage play. While posing together for the picture, the group flaunted their charming and bright smiles, clearly showing the strong bond they’ve built over the years.
It looks like the four friends, Hussain, Kashmira, Alekh and Nakuul hadn’t met in months, as their happiness and excitement were clearly visible in the picture. For those not aware, Zangoora also featured Gauahar Khan along with 100 other artists. The music was composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, while the dialogues were written by Javed Akhtar. The play had a grand set called the Kingdom of Dreams, built in Gurgaon.
Sharing the picture of their reunion on Instagram, Nakuul Mehta wrote, “Zangoora and folks.”
Nakuul Mehta recently celebrated his 13th wedding anniversary with his wife Jankee Parekh. To celebrate the special occasion, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 star shared a video featuring unseen moments from their grand wedding, which took place on January 28, 2012. In the video, Nakuul looked royal in a white and pink sherwani, while Jankee looked beautiful in an orange saree. Fans were also treated to a snippet of their varmala ceremony, which left everyone in awe.
Sharing the video, the actor wrote, “All the treasures of this world aside, that you chose to spend each day of this life with me is my greatest good fortune. Happy wedding anniversary Jankee.” Replying to the post, his wife added, “Wait what. How did you get all of this. I am not crying. I love you. Call me after your shot.”
Soon after Nakuul Mehta dropped the video, artists such as Sargun Mehta, Ayushmann Khurrana, Tahira Kashyap, Disha Parmar, Dia Mirza, Mukti Mohan, Vrajesh Hirjee, Aditi Sharma, Sarah Jane Dias and Harshdeep Kaur, among others, showered the couple with best wishes.
