Saif Ali Khan stabbing case: The father of the alleged attacker said that the hairstyle of the man on the TV is not at all the same as that of his son and that he could not have planned a crime of this length
The father Of Saif Ali Khan’s Attacker said that his son was forced to leave Bangladesh because of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s atrocities.
The Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, which has kept the entire country hooked to it, took another turn when the alleged accused’s father Md Rohul Amin claimed that the man shown on the television is not his son, while speaking exclusively to News18.
“My son has always kept short hair and he used to back brush. The photograph of the man shown is not my son from any angle. Till 30 years he has kept the same hairstyle, so why will it change now,” said Amin.
He said that his son had entered India illegally from Bangladesh because they were allowed to make passports in their country. According to Amin, his son entered India after April or March of 2024.
He added that he was working in a hotel in Mumbai. However, he reiterated that the photo shown is not of his son and he did not sport this type of hairstyle.
Attacker’s Father Blames Hasina For His Son Illegal Migration
The father said that they live in the Jalokathi district of Bangladesh. He said that he is a BNP leader and his two children also also associated with the political party.
He said that Bangladesh’s former prime minister Sheikh Hasina was killing many people which made it difficult for his son to stay in the country.
He added that they were finding it difficult to stay in Bangladesh and his son had no alternative but to go to India.
Amin said that his son’s age is 30 years and his hairstyle is also different from the man shown on the TV.
He added that it is not possible for his son to plan such an attack and that too on a big Bollywood celebrity.
Amin said that he had spoken to his son last Friday and that the latter had not called him since then. He said that his son was also sending him money every month.
Amin said that he knows the face of his son and will reach out to the Bangladesh government for all the help.
Meanwhile, the fingerprints of the accused Mohammad Shariful have matched with those discovered in the residence of actor Saif Ali Khan in the forensic reports. The fingerprints were also collected from his son Jahagir’s room door and bathroom.
The actor has recorded his statement with the police in which he narrated the entire ordeal of the night of the knife attack.
The attacker had barged inside the house of the actor and stabbed him multiple times after which he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent surgery to remove the 2.5-inch piece of knife stuck in his back.
