Ever since Ola Electric’s Roadster X was launched in the Indian market, the brand has grabbed a lot of headlines, thanks to its futuristic style and uncommon road presence. Initially, the company had plans to deliver the model somewhere in March, but put it off until April. Again, the dates have been pushed further.
It has been revealed by the company that it might start dispatching the EV in May 2025. However, a confirmed date is not known yet.
Price Range and Battery
Meanwhile, Ola Roadster X was introduced in the Indian market at the starting price of Rs 84,999, while the top model goes up to Rs 1.85 lakh.
It comes in a total of three battery options: 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh and 6 kWh, offering a decent range up to 140 km, 196 km, and 252 km, respectively. The model is also available in a more advanced avatar, named Roadster X+, featuring 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh with a range of 252 km and 501 km, respectively.
Acceleration and Top Speed
The bike is capable of doing 0-40 km/h acceleration in just 2.2 seconds, and has a top speed of 126 km/h. Talking about the top USPs, the ev has been treated with a conventional telescopic fork at the front, while rear section has been supported by dual shock absorbers.
The model runs on stylish 17-inch alloy wheels, and the braking setup is managed by a single disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
