Joining the trend, the reality star Shiv Thakare also went on a special lunch and spent some romantic time with his ‘someone special’. However, his date was not a potential love interest but his grandmother.
The Bigg Boss Marathi season 2 winner took his grandmother on a surprise date to a fancy restaurant and spent some special time with her. As they arrived, he presented fruits and flowers to her in the shape of hearts. This was followed by the two sharing a cutting chai. Later, he put a ‘gajra’ in his grandmother’s hair. Not just this, the Roadies Rising fame star played with heart balloons with his date, and finally lifted her for a romantic dance. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Date with my Valentine, Aaji”, followed by red heart emojis.
The heartwarming video captured the grandmother’s honest reactions, who was pleasantly surprised and overwhelmed by Shiv’s affection.
For his special lunch date, the 36-year-old actor was seen dressed up in a bright red shirt paired with black trousers. He wore his hair up in a neat way, making for a handsome look. Meanwhile, Shiv’s grandmother looked adorable in a rust-coloured saree with golden embroidery.
Shiv’s unique Valentine’s date immediately struck a chord with fans, making it go viral. Soon after sharing, users flooded the comments section with appreciation for the actor. One of them wrote, “She’s the luckiest Aajji ever.” Another noted, “Cutest Valentine”. The praise continued with users saying, “So sweet” and “Best date.”
On the work front, Shiv Thakare started his career by participating in MTV Roadies Rising, where he made it to the semifinals. He gained widespread recognition for his performance on Bigg Boss Marathi season 2. Fans were impressed by his genuine personality and honest gameplay, which eventually made him win the trophy. Following this, he participated in Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 16 alongside MC Stan, Abdu Rozik, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sajid Khan and Sumbul Touqeer. Other than these, Shiv has appeared on shows such as Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Kalak Dikhla Ja 11, solidifying his presence as a prominent reality TV star.
