Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading a mega Yoga event in Vishakhapatnam on the occasion of 11th International Yoga Day on Saturday. He was joined by his NDA ally and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
During the event, Naidu felicitated Modi and the PM released a commemorative postage stamp.
Addressing the event, the Andhra CM announced that around 22,122 tribal students achieved Guinness record for most people performing Surya Namaskar simultaneously on Friday.

He also urged PM Modi to use his offices to include Yoga in regular Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and Olympic Games.
“Global competition has started in various aspects of Yoga. I am happy to note that in September, Yoga Super League is beginning,” the CM said.
The massive Yoga Day event, organised by Andhra Pradesh government is being attended by over 3 lakh people on a 26-km-long corridor from RK Beach in the port city of Visakhapatnam that stretches up to Bhogapuram.
