In Visakhapatnam, the Prime Minister will lead thousands in performing yoga along a 26-km stretch from RK Beach to Bhogapuram. The event, scheduled from 6:30 am to 8:00 am, is expected to witness over three lakh participants, making it one of the largest mass yoga demonstrations in the world. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stated that the state is aiming for Guinness World Record recognition through this mega event.
Across India, yoga events will be simultaneously held at more than 3.5 lakh locations, with a strong focus on family participation and youth engagement.
