Raghav Juyal shared his experience of working with Kritika Kamra, Dhairya Karwa in Gyaarah Gyaarah.
Raghav Juyal got candid about his bond with Kritika Kamra and Dhairya Karwa on the sets of Gyaarah Gyaarah.
Actor-dancer Raghav Juyal, who first captivated audiences with his mesmerizing moves on a dancing reality show, has successfully transitioned to acting, showcasing his versatility in films like the ABCD franchise, Nawabzaade, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Once hailed as the ‘King of Slow Motion’ for his unique dance style, Raghav is now receiving accolades for his compelling performance as a deadly villain in the recent film Kill. As he gears up for his next project, ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’, set to premiere on Zee5, Raghav shared insights in a recent interview about working alongside Kritika Kamra and Dhairya Karwa.
When asked about his bond with co-stars Kritika and Dhairya, Raghav shared, “It was fun, even though we had little time during the shoot due to the challenging action scenes. We filmed in the cold of Dehradun and Mussoorie at George Everest. Despite the tough conditions, it was lovely; we would gather around a fire whenever we got a break and had a lot of fun. Since this is my hometown, I enjoyed plenty of good food and drinks. The three of us developed a great bond.”
On working with Sikhya and Dharmatic Entertainment once again, Raghav expressed, “Yes! this is my second time working with Sikhya and Dharma, I feel like they should hire me (he laughs). But honestly, I feel at home now, and I’m happy that my career shift happened with them. It’s great for my craft, and I feel very comfortable working with them. They create a brilliant environment, especially for actors, understanding our vulnerabilities and showing great care.”
Raghav Juyal also opened up about Umesh Bist’s working style, the directors behind the upcoming mind-bending series ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’, “Umesh Sir has so much experience. Unlike many directors who just tell actors to do a scene in a certain way, he delves deep into the characters and asks questions before the scene or during workshops. His approach is very character-driven, which I loved because it was crucial for this series and for my character who has so many layers. It was a learning experience working with him.”
The highly anticipated thriller ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ recently unveiled its first trailer on social media, creating a buzz among fans. Directed by Umesh Bist, the film features Raghav Juyal and Kritika Kamra in lead roles, supported by Dhairya Karwa, Gautami Kapoor, Harsh Chhaya, Purnendu Bhattacharya, and Mukti Mohan. ZEE5’s official social media accounts teased the upcoming release with the intriguing question, “Can a glitch in time crack the unsolved crimes?” The film is set to premiere on August 9, 2024.
The trailer opens with a captivating voiceover exploring the enigmatic nature of time. Viewers are introduced to police officer Yug Arya, portrayed by Raghav Juyal, who discusses a 15-year-old cold case with his senior, Vamika Rawat, played by Kritika Kamra. The case involves a woman who has been seeking justice for her daughter for over a decade.
The narrative takes an intriguing turn with the introduction of a time-travel element. Using a mysterious walkie-talkie, Yug can communicate with Shaurya Attwal, a cop from 1990, played by Dhairya Karwa. This device becomes a crucial link between the present and the past, as events from 1990 begin to intertwine with the current investigation.
As Yug and Shaurya collaborate to solve a series of cold cases, their actions inadvertently trigger a chain reaction, altering history with each breakthrough. Meanwhile, Vamika, unaware of the extraordinary connection between Yug and Shaurya, grows increasingly puzzled by Yug’s seemingly inexplicable insights.
Gyaarah Gyaarah is produced by industry heavyweights Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor. This time-bending thriller promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats when it streams on ZEE5 from August 9, 2024.
