Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday stopped his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra before entering the Lok Sabha. Rahul and Priyanka, who have never shied away from showing their affection as siblings in public, recorded the moment on camera as Priyanka embarked on her journey as a lawmaker. Rahul Gandhi stopped her and clicked a photo of his sister right before she entered the Parliament and took oath as the Wayanad MP.

Priyanka Gandhi, who won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in the recent bypoll, took oat at 11 AM on Thursday. Along with her, another Congress leader, Ravindra Chavan, also took oath as the MP from Maharashtra’s Nanded. However, shortly after their swearing-in, the Lok Sabha had to be adjourned amid disruptions over the issues of Adani bribery charges and the violence related to the Sambhal Shahi Jama Masjid survey.
