Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been summoned by a Lucknow court in connection with his alleged remarks against the Indian Army during his countrywide ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’.
The Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha has been asked to appear before the Lucknow MP MLA court in March, NDTV reported.
The development comes after Uday Shankar Srivastava, former Director of Border Road Organization (BRO), filed a complaint against Gandhi on the basis of which a case was registered, the report said.
Gandhi had reportedly made the remarks on the Indian Army during his Bharat Jodo Yatra in December 2022.
