A major accident occured in sri ganganagar area this morning due to the fog. On the Amritsar-Jamnagar highway , vehicles collided one after the other. Around a dozen vechicles including seven to eight trucks crashed into each other . After the collision, two truck caught fire. this caused fire, other drivers abandoned their vehicles and moved away. This accident took place near the thethar village,close to the suratgarh thermal. after that the fire in the trucks gradually increased . After seeing the fire large crowd gathered at the scene . The villagers attempted to smother the fire, but they were unsucessful. After receiving the information, the fire trucks arrived at the scene. With the help of about half a dozen fire trucks ,fire was brought under control. After nearly two hours of effort, the fire was finally extinguised .
