Kareena Kapoor Was With Friends Night Before Husband Saif Attacked
Saif Ali Khan has been injured after a robbery attempt was made at his Mumbai home during the early hours of Thursday.
The actor has been hospitalised after sustaining multiple stab wounds. Seems like Kareena Kapoor was not at home and was having a girls’ night with sister Karisma Kapoor and friends Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor.
Kareena Kapoor took to Instagram a few hours before the incident to share a photo from her night in with Karisma Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. While it is unclear if Kareena was at home at the time of the robbery or not, she spent Wednesday night with her close friends.
Actors Issues Official Statement, Asks Fans To Remain Patient
Actor Saif Ali Khan has released an official statement over the incident of attempted burglary which took place at his residence. The actor is currently undergoing surgery at Lilawati Hospital.
He has asked his fans and media to remain patient because the matter is currently being investigated by the police and has promised to give more updates on the incident.
Police In Search Of Thief
It is being reported that the actor’s servant was trying to get hold of the thief who had barged inside the house. Because of the noise, Saif woke up and tried to intervene and pacify the intruder when he got stabbed with a knife.
The thief has been absconding and the police are searching for him.
Saif Attacked At 4AM Early Morning
According to the police, the actor was attacked by the thief at 4am early morning inside his home in Bandra. Mumbai Police and Crime Branch team have currently reached the actor’s house and are checking the CCTV footage.
Saif Ali Khan Gets Stabbed Multiple Times
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan suffered injuries after engaging in a scuffle with a thief who barged into his home. He has been admitted to Lilawati Hospital. According to reports, he was stabbed several times with a knife.
