In a shocking development, the Mumbai Police has initiated an investigation into the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The suspect, an unidentified man, reportedly entered the actor’s house around 2:30 AM through a bathroom window. According to the maid’s statement, the assailant demanded a ransom of ₹1 crore and threatened her when she questioned him. Upon discovering the attack, Saif Ali Khan tried to intervene but was stabbed in the back, with one wound near his spine. Police believe the attacker may be a history-sheeter familiar with the building’s layout. Authorities are verifying the maid’s statement and have identified the suspect through CCTV footage. Saif’s condition is stable after surgery. The investigation is ongoing.
