Actor Saif Ali Khan was operated on after being stabbed multiple times at his residence in Mumbai on Thursday morning. The police have launched an extensive probe into the incident.

As the probe into the Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident intensified on Thursday, the Mumbai Police are investigating how the attacker reached the 12th floor of the building where the actor lives with his family.
Khan lives on the 12th floor of an elite residential society in Bandra, where he was stabbed six times, two of which inflicted deep wounds on him, including one near the spine. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday when the attacker barged into his residence and attempted robbery. The actor was shifted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment.
The police have so far detained three people for questioning and hunting the attacker who is absconding.
The police are interrogating three people at the Bandra Police Station. According to sources, the attacker is a thief who was solely motivated by theft. The initial investigation suggested that the assailant’s only intention was to commit theft.
Police Probing How Attacker Reached 12th Floor Of Building
The police are probing how he reached the 12th floor of the building which is secured by several layers of security, including CCTV, automatic gate, and security guards.
The police have seized the CCTV footage in and around the building as well as in the flat.
The Crime Branch is also investigating whether the attacker was only a thief or someone else.
The police are also interrogating domestic servant, lift man, and security guard.
The mobile phones of the employees have also been taken into custody.
Police Find Two Suspects In CCTV Analysis
After examining the CCTV footage of the premises, the police have found two suspects. The police suspect that one of these could have attacked the actor.
They are also trying to establish their identities. The Mumbai Police will also record the statements of seven house helps who stay at Khan’s residence 24X7, sources said.
A total of 15 teams have been formed by the Mumbai police to investigate the case.
