Mumbai Police had first spotted the attacker in a CCTV camera installed at the Bandra railway station

The Mumbai Police caught the first glimpse of actor Saif Ali Khan’s attacker on the CCTV installed at the Bandra station bridge, as per the sources.

However, he was not seen in any other CCTV cameras which were present at the Bandra station which led investigators to believe that the man had likely boarded a local train and fled towards the Vasai-Nallasopara area.

The police got this crucial information when they were meticulously tracing the route of the attacker and reviewing the footage of the CCTV installed in the surrounding area.

Nearly 20 teams of Mumbai Police are dedicatedly working towards apprehending the accused.

The local auto drivers near the residence of the actor and Bandra railway station are also being questioned by the police officers to collect additional information.

The CCTV footage of other areas is also being continuously monitored by the police to track the accused attacker. The police are also interrogating the staff members of the actor.

What Happened To Saif Ali Khan?

Actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by the intruder who had barged into the house with the purpose of stealing and had been hiding in the room of his son Jeh.

The actor had heard commotion between the attacker and one of his house-helps and rushed to the room after which he got involved in a scuffle with the attacker and was stabbed with a sharp object.

The actor had to undergo surgery and the doctors removed a 2.5-inch knife from his spine. He is now stable and out of danger.

He will be soon moved from the ICU to the special room where he is likely to record his statement with the Mumbai Police.
