The third season of the Netflix reality show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives made waves last year. Aside from the original Bollywood wives, the new entrants to the season included Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kalyani Saha Chawla, and Shalini Passi. Shalini rose to prominence due to her refreshing opinions and attitude toward life. She has now revealed that she was warned by people about being in the spotlight before she joined the show. But Shalini chose to simply be sincere on the series.
In conversation with BBC Asian Network, Shalini Passi said, “My friends would tell me that being in the media is a lot, you will not be able to handle it. They would say don’t say anything, don’t have your soups, don’t have your juices.I said I am not going to lie and say I am having daal-chawal. I don’t eat daal-chawal.”
In the same interview, Shalini also claimed that she has yet to watch her show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives because she is self-conscious about her appearance.
Shalini Passi also spoke about following an Ayurvedic diet. The socialite said that she only eats raw food until 6 PM. She also stated that she consumes various types of vegetables, ghee, ayurvedic spices, and powders. Shalini said, “I think my lifestyle is for me to be healthy and for me to be functional.” She expressed her concern for people who consume a lot of sugar, carbohydrates and alcohol, and have unhealthy lifestyles.
The Delhi-based socialite also shared details about her daily schedule, which includes over two hours of prayer, exercise, dance, pilates, and other activities.
Season 3 of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives featured a glamorous clash between celebrities based in Mumbai and Delhi. Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Seema Kiran Sajdeh who have been on the show for the past 2 seasons, represented Mumbai, while the others represented Delhi. The drama-filled season premiered on Netflix on October 18, 2024.
