Actor Aamir Ali, who has been in the limelight for his personal life, recently opened up about his rumoured relationship with Ankita Kukreti. Earlier, the two were spotted together at a Holi party, surfacing dating rumours on social media. In a recent interview, Aamir has hinted at his relationship, revealing that Ankita is the closest person to him. This statement has yet again generated a buzz around his personal life, with many claiming that the actor is really in love again.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, Aamir Ali broke the silence on his viral Holi party pictures with Ankita. He stated, “She was the mystery girl for some time, and that was fun. And the best was the way they had shot us together, and then it went viral. Logon ka kaam hai, they can and will always speculate.”
However, the actor didn’t admit to dating Ankita. “Abhi, I am not denying anything, but she is very close to me. She is currently the closest person to me. She’s a pretty girl and is starting her career in the industry. We are very close to each other, and that’s about it,” he added.
Aamir, who separated from his first wife, Sanjeeda Sheikh, in 2021, admitted that he hasn’t closed the doors to his heart. He said, “I am not against finding love. And a couple of hurdles in life won’t stop me from finding or falling in love again.”
Shedding light on his personal life, the 43-year-old actor got married to actress Sanjeeda Shaikh in 2012 and welcomed their seven-year-old daughter Ayra in 2018. However, due to known reasons, the ex-couple got separated in 2020, with their divorce finalising the following year. Despite separating from each other, Aamir and Sanjeeda are co-parenting their seven-year-old daughter, Ayra, maintaining a relatively low profile about their personal lives after the divorce.
On the work front, Aamir Ali was last seen in a web series called Doctors. He has also been engrossed in other digital projects, including an untitled dark comedy project. Previously, he has been a part of several movies such as I Hate Luv Storys and Faraaz.
