March 2 marked the first wedding anniversary of Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma. The duo exchanged vows in a royal ceremony at Chomu Palace Hotel near Jaipur, Rajasthan, in 2024. To mark the occasion, the couple decided to unveil a glimpse of their wedding through a trailer. The wholesome clip captured everything from behind-the-scenes wedding preparations to emotional and joyous moments from their special day.
In a joint post on Instagram, Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma penned, “We waited an entire year to share these lovely wedding memories with you all who celebrated our special day throughout the year. We both received so many blessings from so many of you! Here’s to the first of many beautiful years together. Happy 1st Anniversary to us!”
The highlight of the wedding trailer – the emotional song, Mera Bina which holds a special place in the heart of the couple. It was beautifully merged with Ek Tumhi Ho, a track composed specially for their wedding by Kavyakriti. Chandna shared in the caption, “Mera Bina is Song That Is Close To Us and Karan would often dedicate it to me in our initial years of dating.”
The video begins with Karan Sharma revealing he took charge of planning the whole wedding. He wore a custom-made T-shirt with ‘groom and the wedding planner’ written on its back. Later, the couple also talked about some interesting anecdotes from their dating days. Chandna said, “Karan is such a perfect boy. The entire credit for the wedding goes to him. He is the one who has brought stability in my life.” On the other hand, Karan, in an emotional revelation, added, “The day I met her, I know I have met my forever one.” In a touching moment, Chandna also got emotional while sharing a hug with her father during one of their wedding celebrations.
Last year, in January 2024, Surbhi Chndna and Karan Sharma officially announced on social media that they were getting married. Before tying the knot, the duo had been in a relationship for 13 years. However, they successfully managed to keep the relationship private until September 2022 when Chanda made it official with a birthday post dedicated to her beau. “9.09.2021 #14 #BirthdayBoy,” she wrote while extending her heartfelt wishes to Karan.
