US President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned Harvard University that its tax-exempt status could be revoked if it keeps pushing what he claimed “political, ideological and terrorist-inspired sickness”.
“Perhaps Harvard should lose its Tax Exempt Status and be Taxed as a Political Entity if it keeps pushing political, ideological, and terrorist inspired/supporting “Sickness?” Remember, Tax Exempt Status is totally contingent on acting in the PUBLIC INTEREST!” the US President wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The reaction comes shortly after the Trump administration froze more than $2 billion in federal funds for Harvard University, hours after the elite college rejected a list of demands from the White House.
