Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7: Samsung is gearing up to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and recent leaks have given us an early glimpse into what to expect. Reports suggest that while the design will closely resemble its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, subtle refinements and hardware upgrades may set the new model apart.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Renders
A fresh leak from Android Headlines indicates that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will maintain the signature boxy aesthetic, dual-camera setup on the cover display, and punch-hole inner display seen in previous iterations. However, some refinements are expected, including a slightly larger cover display measuring 3.6 inches, up from 3.4 inches on the Flip 6. The main foldable display will also see a small increase to 6.8 inches compared to the 6.7-inch panel on its predecessor.
Dimension-wise, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is said to measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm when unfolded. Factoring in the camera bump, the thickness extends to 9.1mm. Another key change may be the reduced visibility of the crease on the display, a persistent issue in foldable phones, which Samsung is reportedly working to minimize significantly in both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7: Camera, Performance, Specs (Expected)
Samsung appears to be sticking with a dual-camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. While this setup mirrors that of the Flip 6, the sensors are expected to receive enhancements for better performance.
Under the hood, the chipset remains a subject of debate. Some leaks suggest that Samsung might equip the Flip 7 with the Exynos 2500 processor, while others indicate that the company could opt for an alternative due to potential production constraints. Regardless of the final choice, the device is likely to feature 12GB of RAM with storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7: Price (Expected)
In terms of pricing, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to retain a similar price point as its predecessor. If reports hold, the device could launch at approximately $1,099 globally, with a possible Indian pricing of Rs 1,09,999.
Interestingly, Samsung is also rumored to be expanding its Galaxy Z lineup with two additional models. One of them, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, could be a more affordable variant, while another new entrant is speculated to be Samsung’s first-ever triple-fold smartphone, the Galaxy G Fold.
As with all leaks, these details should be taken with a grain of salt until Samsung officially announces the device. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the anticipated July launch!
