The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has announced the Class 11 HSE (+1) results for 2025 on 16 May. According to the official notice, the result link will be activated at 2 PM on the websites — dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 92.09%.
Students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 11 board exams can check and download their scorecards by entering their roll number and roll code. Besides the official websites, the results will also be accessible via the DigiLocker platform, where students can retrieve digital copies of their marksheets using their Aadhaar-linked login credentials.
The Tamil Nadu Board conducted the Class 11 board exams for 2025 from March 5 to March 27. The practical exams took place earlier, between February 15 and 21. In 2024, the Class 11 (HSE +1) results were announced on May 14. That same year, the Class 12 board exams were held from March 4 to March 25.
Pass percentage increased this year
In March/April 2024 public examination, the number of students who appeared for the examination was 8,94,264. The pass percentage was 91.55%.
12k+ schools wrote SSLC exam
This year, 12,485 schools wrote the 10th grade public examination, 7,555 of which were secondary schools and 4,930 of which were high schools.
Pass percentage of girls and boys schools
TN SSLC 10th Result OUT Live: Girls’ schools have passed 7.52% more than boys’ schools, and co-ed schools have passed 6.22% more than boys’ schools.

Tamil Nadu Class 11 result: Minimum marks to qualify
Students must receive at least 35 out of 100 marks to qualify. For theory exams carrying 70 marks, students must secure passing marks, while no minimum passing mark has reportedly been set for practical exams.
