The top bike maker Triumph is gearing up to update its Indian fleet by bringing a latest version of the Scrambler 400X. Ahead of the official release, the model was spotted during the testing phase, and revealed some of the important details, design elements and features.
The company has not revealed the launch-related details as yet. However, some reports say that the upcoming offering might hit the market in the upcoming weeks or months. If rumours are to be believed, the Scrambler 400xc will arrive with a higher price tag, and the difference might fall cost around Rs 25,000-30,000.
Here’s What To Expect
According to the leaked images, the motorcycle looks quite aggressive from the outside, flaunting a bold stance. The bike will carry the signature style statement and will have the DNA as the standard version. The notable updates include cross-spoke wheels shod with tubeless tyres, a body-coloured high fender, a metal bash plate, comfortable seating, and a flyscreen.
Top Elements
The customers can expect a 43 mm USD fork at the front, complemented by an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The braking duties will be managed by a 320 mm disc for the front with a 4-piston calliper and a 230 mm disc for the rear section. The former will be paired with a single-piston calliper.
Engine and Gearbox
At the heart, everything remains unchanged. It means Scrambler 400xc will use the same 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It will generate a maximum power of 39.5 BHP and 37.5 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
