The leading bike maker TVS has kicked off the yearly motorcycling festival ‘Motoasoul 2024’ in Goa’s Hill Top. The company has unveiled its next-gen TVS RT-XD4 engine platform at the event, pushing the technology to go a step ahead.
The company has also showcased some of its tech-loaded offerings, riding gear, apparel for the bikini community, live performances and a lot more under one roof.

Sharing the details about the newly unveiled next-gen TVS RT-XD4 engine platform., the company said it is a new transformative innovation that takes inspiration from its racing heritage over decades. It says the platform is not just capable of delivering thrilling performance but offers unmatched refinement and precision for a very comfortable ride.

The unit delivers a racing thrill using 4 Dual Technologies that include Dual Overhead Cams with downdraft ports for high revs and superior peak performance, a Dual oil pump with a split chamber crankcase for optimum lubrication and all-range torque, a Dual cooling jacket cylinder head with water jacket on top and oil jacket below to push the cooling, Dual breather system that effectively prevents oil contamination and reduces oil consumption.
Talking about the other features, it gets plasma spray-coating, superior thermal/heat management, high inertia shell-bearing crankshaft, helical gear-driven balancer system.

Reacting about the latest offering, the company’s MD Sudarshan Venu said, “The TVS RT-XD4 is a major milestone, the result of our focus on creating unique, compelling, TVS-kind of riding experience. Conceptualised, designed and developed in-house, at our R&D Centre in Hosur, the TVS RT-XD4 is a demonstration of our engineering and research capability.”
