The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for the Engineering Services Preliminary Examination (ESE) 2025. Candidates who took the preliminary exam can access their results on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. They can view the list of qualified candidates for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2025, sorted by name and roll number.

The commission conducted the Engineering Services Examination on June 8 across the country. The UPSC ESE Prelims test was administered in two shifts. Paper 1 was held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and Paper II took place from 2 pm to 5 pm. Paper I consisted of 200 marks and applicants were given two hours to complete the exam. While Paper II featured 300 marks and was held for a duration of three hours.

UPSC ESE 2025: Steps To Check

Step 1: Go to the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the prelims result link

Step 3: Enter your login credentials

Step 4: The result will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download and save the page for further use

As per the official notice, UPSC has a Facilitation Counter at its campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/result on working days between 10 AM to 5 PM in person or over Telephone Nos. (011)- 23388088/ 23385271/23381125/23098543 from this counter.

The commission has scheduled the UPSC ESE Mains exam for August 10. Candidates can download their e-Admit Cards for the Mains examination from the Commission’s website a week prior to the exam date.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 232 posts in the organisation. “The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 232 including 12 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (7 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy and 5 vacancies for Hard of Hearing. The number of vacancies is liable to alteration,” the official notice by UPSC reads.
