The makers of popular television drama Pushpa Impossible are planning an exciting twist in the plot with the return of Urvashi Dholakia. The actress who played Devi Singh Shekhawat, a powerful lawyer and social activist, in earlier episodes of the show is set to re-enter the protagonist’s life as the latter deals with the obstacles of life. The show, based on the inspiring journey of Pushpa (Karuna Pandey), depicts her emotional fight for justice.
Urvashi Dholakia’s return to the show comes at a pivotal time as Deepti (Garima Parihar) and Ashwin (Naveen Pandita) face a difficult chapter, falsely accused of a hit-and-run and diamond theft. The entire situation pushes the family into turmoil and they are unjustly imprisoned. The misleading evidence mounted against them only worsens the situation, prompting the entry of Devi as their fiercest advocate.
Excited to reprise her role promising an engaging narrative, Urvashi Dholakia, in a statement, said, “Returning to Pushpa Impossible as Devi Singh Shekhawat feels like coming home. Devi has always been a strong, independent woman who stands firmly for what’s right, and this time, she’s back to support Pushpa when she needs her the most.”
Further, the actress talked about the narrative of the show which she finds ‘empowering’. Urvashi Dholakia’s return to the show sets the stage for an emotional and thrilling battle for truth and justice, and the legal acumen of her character in the show has to be credited for the same.
Lately, Urvashi has also been dealing with some health issues as shared in a post online. Smiling despite her apparent unwell condition as she showcased her bandaged hand, she rested on a couch or a bed in the photo. Urvashi wrote, “A new fight begins! Time to focus!” along with the post.
Over the years, Urvashi Dholakia has delivered some noteworthy performances in hit shows including Kasautii Zindagii Kay and even won Bigg Boss 6 in 2013.
