It has been claimed Elon Musk that the whole driverless journey involved a long way of highway driving, ditching all the obstacles and traffic safely by the car itself.

A viral video surfaced on the internet, where a Tesla Model Y was seen flaunting its self-driving capabilities in the US. According to the details, the EV was dispatched from the company’s manufacturing facility near Austin, Texas, and was commanded to reach at the customer’s door without having any human inside the cabin. Sounds futuristic, right?
It has been claimed by the top official of Tesla, Elon Musk, that the whole driverless journey involved a long way of highway driving, ditching all the obstacles and traffic safely by the car itself, a big thanks to the inbuilt self-driving technology offered by Tesla.

Tesla Model Y Driverless Feature
In the clip, it can be seen that the EV coming out of the facility keeps a decent distance from the vehicle ahead. As the video moves further, it shows the model analysing the surroundings’ traffic and stopping by itself without any human interference.
After completing the long journey on the busy roads, the battery-powered model reaches its final destination, brakes itself and gets itself nicely.
Price and Range
Talking about the international market, the Tesla Model Y comes at the starting price of 44,990 dollars for the Rear-Wheel Drive, while the Long Range All-Wheel Drive costs 47,990 dollars. It gets a 75 kWh battery pack across range, offering a range between 260 miles to 330 miles on a single charge.
