On the contrary, the actor was at the initial stage of his career, which led people to recognise him as Divyanka’s husband instead of acknowledging his achievements. Earlier, in an interview with Hindi Rush, Divyanka talked about the same and said that she was disappointed.
Divyanka said, “Mai bilkul honest bolna chahungi, as a wife mujhe kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta hai vivek ke liye main raaste ka adanga hu, unki pragati mein, kyuki jab hum saath mein hote hai, log mujhe dekh rahe hota hai aur phir ek banda nazar andaaz ho raha hota hai (I’ll be very honest. As a wife, I feel that I am the obstacle in Vivek’s way to his success. Whenever we are out, people are looking at me and he is being ignored)”
She added, “It’s highly disturbing for me as a wife and as an actor also main chahungi ki mere saath jo vyakti hai woh nazar aaye for his efforts, and it’s very disappointing jab aisa nahi ho raha hai.”
