Channeling her inner child, Ankita Lokhande can be seen dancing to the song Cham Cham in the latest video shared on Instagram.
Ankita Lokhande has been on a roll this year. Beginning with her Bigg Boss 17 appearance followed by the release of her film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, the actress has been winning hearts and rightfully so. Currently, she is entertaining the viewers with her participation in Laughter Chefs. Besides, her Instagram timeline is also an intriguing watch, thanks to her engaging posts and endearing pictures. Now, she has dropped a new video featuring her with her friends, enjoying their pool time to the fullest.
We all are aware of Ankita Lokhande’s love for dancing. Even in her recent video, the former Bigg Boss contestant can be seen grooving to the tunes of the song Cham Cham from the film Baaghi. Enjoying her heart out, the actress channeled her inner child as she spent some fun time with her friends. In her caption, she added the lyrics of the song featured on Shraddha Kapoor and wrote, “Main nachu aaj cham cham cham.”
Fans are elated to see Ankita Lokhande flaunting her bubbly side, calling her ‘OG queen’. Some even marked the clip as Ankita’s return to her original self. Ankita Lokhande is paired with husband Vicky Jain in the cookery-based show, Laughter Chef. Hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, the show features several celebrities including Karan Kundrra, Arjun Bijlani, Nia Sharma, Sudesh Lehri, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Jannat Zubair Rahmani, Rahul Vaidya and Aly Goni.
Besides her television appearances, Ankita Lokhande’s last big screen project was Swatantrya Veer Savarkar co-starring Randeep Hooda. In the film, the actress played the role of Savarkar’s wife Yamuna Bai. Released on March 22, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is based on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and his contribution during the Indian Independence struggle.
Next up for Ankita Lokhande is a web series titled Amrapali wherein she will be portraying an accomplished royal dancer from the ancient republic of Vaishali. Expressing her joy for getting the opportunity to play the celebrated royal dancer, the actress spoke to ETimes. She shared, “I feel very lucky that I am offered such strong roles. I also sometimes get surprised that people see or visualize me in such strong roles. I started my journey with Pavitra Rishta and slowly moved towards such strong roles as Amrapali. When I get offered such strong roles sometimes, I feel, will I be able to pull them off. It is quite challenging for me but I respect that people see me in such strong roles.”
